0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A SUMMER YOUTH CAMP PROGRAM AT

0012|     TOHATCHI IN MCKINLEY COUNTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-one thousand five
    |
0016|     hundred dollars ($51,500) is appropriated from the general fund
    |
0017|     to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal years 1997 and 1998 for the purpose of assisting the
    |
0019|     summer youth camp project at the Tohatchi chapter in McKinley
    |
0020|     county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0021|     the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0022|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0023|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
