Section 66-3-705 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1978, | 0017| Chapter 35, Section 104) is amended to read: | 0018| "66-3-705. RIDING ON ROADWAYS AND BICYCLE PATHS.-- | 0019| A. Every person operating a bicycle upon a roadway | 0020| shall ride as near to the right side of the roadway as | 0021| [praticable] practicable, exercising due care when passing | 0022| a standing vehicle or one proceeding in the same direction. | 0023| B. [Person] Persons riding bicycles upon a | 0024| roadway shall not ride more than two abreast except on paths or | 0025| parts of roadways set aside for the exclusive use of bicycles. | 0001| [C. Whenever a usable path for bicycles has been | 0002| provided adjacent to a roadway, bicycle riders shall use such | 0003| path and shall not use the roadway.]" | 0004| Section 2.
