0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ESTABLISHING A TRAINING PROGRAM FOR

0012|     HOTEL MANAGEMENT AND HOSPITALITY TRAINING IN NORTHERN NEW

0013|     MEXICO; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism
    |
0018|     department for expenditure in fiscal years 1997 and 1998 for
    |
0019|     the purpose of contracting for a hotel management and
    |
0020|     hospitality employee training program based in Taos county. 
    |
0021|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0022|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0023|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0024|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
