0011|     RELATING TO CAPITAL EXPENDITURES; EXTENDING THE EXPENDITURE

0012|     PERIOD FOR A GENERAL FUND APPROPRIATION FOR THE HISPANIC

0013|     CULTURAL CENTER IN ALBUQUERQUE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  GENERAL FUND--EXTENDING EXPENDITURE PERIOD--
    |
0017|     APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0018|               A.  The period of time in which the appropriation
    |
0019|     made pursuant to Subsection K of Section 3 of Chapter 147 of
    |
0020|     Laws 1994 to the Hispanic cultural division of the office of
    |
0021|     cultural affairs for planning, designing and constructing a
    |
0022|     Hispanic cultural center in the southwest portion of
    |
0023|     Albuquerque in Bernalillo county shall be extended through
    |
0024|     fiscal year 1999.
    |
0025|               B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0001|     at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general
    |
0002|     fund.
    |
0003|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0004|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
    |
