0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR A

0012|     FAMILY DEVELOPMENT CENTER FOR CREATIVE LEARNING.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board
    |
0017|     of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of developing and implementing
    |
0019|     a cost-effective center to develop creative, educationally
    |
0020|     sound activities using recyclable materials obtained through
    |
0021|     school-business partnerships that provide a positive use for
    |
0022|     discarded materials, helping to reduce waste and increase the
    |
0023|     quantity of classroom materials.  Any unexpended or
    |
0024|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
    |
0025|     shall revert to the general fund.
