0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION

0012|     FOR THE SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTERS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred ninety-four
    |
0016|     thousand dollars ($594,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the commission on higher education for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1998 for operations of the small business
    |
0019|     development centers.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0020|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the
    |
0021|     general fund.
