0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT OF THE NORTH AMERICAN FREE

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board
    |
0018|     of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in
    |
0019|     fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of funding the North American
    |
0020|     Free Trade Agreement institute on economic development at
    |
0021|     western New Mexico university.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0022|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert
    |
0023|     to the general fund.
