0011| MAKING APPROPRIATIONS TO ESTABLISH TRADE OFFICES IN BEIJING,

0012| PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA; TAIPEI, REPUBLIC OF CHINA; AND

0013| TOKYO, JAPAN.

0015| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand
|
0017| dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
|
0018| economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year
|
0019| 1998 for the purpose of providing personal services, supplies,
|
0020| materials or contractual services necessary to establish a
|
0021| trade office in the city of Beijing, People's Republic of
|
0022| China. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the
|
0023| end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
|
0024| Section 2. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand
|
0025| dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
|
0001| economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year
|
0002| 1998 for the purpose of providing personal services, supplies,
|
0003| materials or contractual services necessary to establish a
|
0004| trade office in the city of Taipei, Republic of China. Any
|
0005| unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of

0006| fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.

0008| dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the

0009| economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year

0010| 1998 for the purpose of providing personal services, supplies,

|
0012| trade office in Tokyo, Japan. Any unexpended or unencumbered
|
0013| balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert
|
0014| to the general fund.
