0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CONTINUATION OF A SEVEN-COUNTY

0012|     DIABETES PROGRAM IN NORTHERN NEW MEXICO.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred twenty-five
    |
0016|     thousand dollars ($225,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0018|     1998 for the purpose of contracting for the continuation of a
    |
0019|     seven-county diabetes program for uninsured and underinsured
    |

0020|     persons in northern New Mexico.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0021|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert
    |
0022|     to the general fund.
