0011| RELATING TO COURTS; REQUIRING A DISTRICT COURT JUDGE IN THE

0012| SEVENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT TO RESIDE IN AND MAINTAIN HIS

0013| PRINCIPAL OFFICE IN SIERRA COUNTY.

0015| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016| Section 1. Section 34-6-10 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1968,
|
0017| Chapter 69, Section 13, as amended) is amended to read:
|
0018| "34-6-10. JUDGES--SEVENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT.--There shall
|
0019| be three district judges in the seventh judicial district. The
|
0020| judge of division three shall reside in and maintain his
|
0021| principal office in Sierra county."
|
0022| Section 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the
|
0023| provisions of this act is January 1, 1998.
