  Mr. Speaker:
  
       Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
                       HOUSE BILL 1330
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1.  On page 1, line 11, before "PROGRAM" insert "PILOT".
       
       2.  On page 1, line 20, before "program" insert "pilot".
       
       3.  On page 1, line 22, after the period insert "The
  appropriation is a nonrecurring appropriation and is contingent upon
  an equal amount of matching funds being contributed from private
  sources.".
       
       4.  On page 1, line 24, after the period insert "At the
  completion of the pilot project, the Santa Fe public schools shall
  submit a report on the project to the commission on higher
  education, the state department of public education, the legislative
  finance committee and the legislative education study committee.".,
  
  and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE
  COMMITTEE.
