0011|     RELATING TO HIGHWAYS; RESTRICTING EXPENDITURES FROM THE STATE

0012|     ROAD FUND; AMENDING A SECTION OF THE NMSA 1978.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  Section 67-3-65 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1973,
    |
0016|     Chapter 145, Section 1, as amended) is amended to read:
    |
0017|          "67-3-65.  STATE ROAD FUND CREATED.--The "state road fund"
    |
0018|     is created within the state treasury to which shall be credited
    |
0019|     all receipts authorized by law to be paid into it.  No income
    |
0020|     earned on the fund shall be transferred to another fund. <u>Money
</u>    |
<u></u>0021| <u>    in the state road fund shall not be used for administrative
</u>    |
<u></u>0022| <u>    expenses of any department other than the state highway and
</u>    |
<u></u>0023| <u>    transportation department.</u>"
