0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR NATIVE AMERICAN CULTURAL PROJECTS.

0013| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0014| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--
|
0015| A. Three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000)
|
0016| is appropriated from the general fund to the office of cultural
|
0017| affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 in the following
|
0018| amounts for the following purposes:
|
0019| (1) three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000)
|
0020| to create a multimedia, computer-based curriculum on the
|
0021| history of Native Americans in New Mexico; and
|
0022| (2) fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to
|
0023| develop a Native American music and arts festival.
|
0024| B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
|
0025| at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general
|
0001| fund.
|
