0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE

0012|     DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF
    |
0013|     PROVIDING OPERATING EXPENSES FOR QUAY COUNTY; DECLARING AN
    |
0014|     EMERGENCY.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local
    |
0019|     government division of the department of finance and
    |
0020|     administration for expenditure in fiscal years 1997 and 1998
    |
0021|     for the purpose of providing operating expenses for Quay
    |
0022|     county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0023|     the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0024|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0025|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
