0012|     RELATING TO HIGHER EDUCATION; INCLUDING TWO-YEAR EDUCATION

0013|     INSTITUTIONS IN THE UNIVERSITY ENDOWMENT ACT; REPEALING THE

0014|     DELAYED REPEAL OF THE ACT.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|          Section 1.  Section 21-1A-3 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1989,
    |
0018|     Chapter 390, Section 3) is amended to read:
    |
0019|          "21-1A-3.  DEFINITIONS.--As used in the University
    |
0020|     Endowment Act:
    |
0021|               A.  "commission" means the commission on higher
    |
0022|     education;
    |
0023|               B.  "donation" means a private bequest or gift to an
    |
0024|     institution which is available for purposes set forth in the
    |
0025|     University Endowment Act;
    |
0001|               C.  "fund" means the university fund for endowments
    |
0002|     created by the University Endowment Act; and
    |
0003|               D.  "institution" means the public post-secondary
    |
0004|     education institutions in this state, <u>including community
</u>    |
<u></u>0005| <u>    colleges and technical-vocational institutions</u>."
    |
0006|          Section 2.  REPEAL.--Laws 1989, Chapter 390, Section 6 is
    |
0007|     repealed.
