0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL SERVICE FOR

0012|     ADDITIONAL AUTOMATION NEEDS FOR THE LEGISLATIVE INFORMATION

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Eight hundred ten thousand
    |
0017|     dollars ($810,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     legislative council service for expenditure in fiscal years
    |
0019|     1998 and 1999 for the legislative information system for
    |
0020|     replacement workstations for the legislative council service,
    |
0021|     the legislative education study committee, the legislative
    |
0022|     finance committee, the house of representatives and the senate;
    |
0023|     for network infrastructure; and for legislative notebooks and
    |
0024|     other attendant hardware and software upgrades to enhance
    |
0025|     communications equipment for support of the legislative web
    |
0001|     site and other communications applications and upgrades to
    |
0002|     internal systems.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0003|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |
0004|     general fund.
