0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN ARMORY NEAR CLAYTON IN UNION

0012|     COUNTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($700,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0017|     armory board for expenditure in fiscal years 1997 and 1998 for
    |
0018|     the purpose of planning, designing and constructing an armory
    |
0019|     near Clayton in Union county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0020|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert
    |
0021|     to the general fund.
    |
0022|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0023|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
