0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A PILOT PROJECT IN TAOS COUNTY TO

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred twelve thousand
    |
0017|     dollars ($512,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     economic development department for expenditure in fiscal years
    |
0019|     1998 and 1999 for the purpose of establishing a pilot program
    |
0020|     to recruit new businesses to Taos county to promote economic
    |
0021|     development by increasing employment opportunities.  Any
    |
0022|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
