0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICES AND CARE

0012|     FOR THE ELDERLY IN CIBOLA COUNTY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0016|               A.  Three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000)
    |
0017|     is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office
    |
0018|     of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 to
    |
0019|     contract for the following amounts for the following purposes:
    |
0020|                    (1)  two hundred fifty thousand dollars
    |
0021|     ($250,000) to provide nursing home care to elderly individuals
    |
0022|     at the pueblo of Laguna; and
    |
0023|                    (2)  one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to
    |
0024|     provide emergency fire services at the pueblo of Laguna.
    |
0025|               B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0001|     at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general
    |
0002|     fund.
