0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR START-UP COSTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF

0012|     NEW MEXICO GRADUATE CENTER IN GALLUP.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of
    |
0017|     regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of establishing offices,
    |
0019|     hiring staff and other costs associated with start-up of the
    |
0020|     graduate center at the university of New Mexico in Gallup.  Any
    |
0021|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0022|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
