0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY FOR

0012|     NURSING AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY PROGRAMS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred sixty thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($260,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     board of regents of western New Mexico university for
    |
0018|     expenditure in fiscal years 1998 and 1999 for the purpose of
    |
0019|     funding the nursing and occupational therapy programs at
    |
0020|     western New Mexico university.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0021|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert
    |
0022|     to the general fund.
