0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION

0013|     DEPARTMENT TO OBTAIN A RIGHT OF WAY AND FOR CONSTRUCTION ON

0014|     NINETY-EIGHTH STREET IN ALBUQUERQUE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two million four hundred
    |
0018|     thirty-two thousand dollars ($2,432,000) is appropriated from
    |
0019|     the general fund to the state highway and transportation
    |
0020|     department for expenditure in fiscal years 1996 and 1997 for the
    |
0021|     purposes of obtaining a right of way and for construction on
    |
0022|     ninety-eighth street between Benavides road southwest and
    |
0023|     Central avenue in Albuquerque.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0024|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to
    |
0025|     the general fund.

0001|       Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0002|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
