0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN ADULT LITERACY AND LEARNING

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0018|     department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0019|     1997 for the purpose of providing supplemental funding for an
    |
0020|     adult literacy and learning center in the town of Bernalillo in
    |
0021|     Sandoval county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0022|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
    |
0023|     general fund.
