0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

0013|     CENTERS LOCATED THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     commission on higher education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0019|     1997 to fund small business development centers located
    |
0020|     throughout the state.  This appropriation shall be allocated
    |
0021|     among all the centers.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0022|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
    |
0023|     general fund.
