0012|     RELATING TO COUNTIES; ADJUSTING THE BOUNDARY LINES SEPARATING

0013|     BERNALILLO, TORRANCE AND VALENCIA COUNTIES; ENACTING CERTAIN

0014|     SECTIONS OF THE NMSA 1978.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  A new Section 4-1-3 NMSA 1978 is enacted to
    |
0018|     read:
    |
0019|       "4-1-3.  [<u>NEW MATERIAL</u>]  BERNALILLO COUNTY--SOUTHERN
    |
0020|     BOUNDARY LINE.--The southern boundary line of Bernalillo county,
    |
0021|     being the northern boundary line of Valencia county where it
    |
0022|     lies within the pueblo of Isleta, is changed to be coterminous
    |
0023|     with the northern boundary line of the pueblo of Isleta and its
    |
0024|     trust lands; provided that this change does not affect any
    |
0025|     pending litigation in the counties of Bernalillo and Valencia."
    |
0001|       Section 2.  A new Section 4-30-3 NMSA 1978 is enacted to
    |
0002|     read:
    |
0003|       "4-30-3.  [<u>NEW MATERIAL</u>]  TORRANCE COUNTY--WESTERN
    |
0004|     BOUNDARY LINE.--The western boundary line of Torrance county,
    |
0005|     being the eastern boundary line of Valencia county where it lies
    |
0006|     within the pueblo of Isleta, is changed to be conterminous with
    |
0007|     the eastern boundary line of the pueblo of Isleta and its trust
    |
0008|     lands; provided that this change does not affect any pending
    |
0009|     litigation in Torrance and Valencia counties."
    |
0010|       Section 3.  A new Section 4-32-2 NMSA is enacted to read:

0011|       "4-32-2.  [<u>NEW MATERIAL</u>]  VALENCIA COUNTY--NORTHERN
    |
0012|     BOUNDARY LINE--EASTERN BOUNDARY LINE.--
    |
0013|            A.  The northern boundary line of Valencia county,
    |
0014|     being the southern boundary line of Bernalillo county where it
    |
0015|     lies within the pueblo of Isleta, is changed to be coterminous
    |
0016|     with the northern boundary line of the pueblo of Isleta and its
    |
