0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY FOR CERTAIN

0013|     ALBUQUERQUE SCHOOLS IN BERNALILLO COUNTY; DECLARING AN

0014|     EMERGENCY.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0019|     department of public education for expenditure in fiscal years
    |
0020|     1996 and 1997 for the purpose of purchasing and installing
    |
0021|     educational computer technology, including accessories, at
    |
0022|     Alamosa, Mary Ann Binford, Atrisco and Carlos Rey elementary
    |
0023|     schools and at Truman middle school and Rio Grande high school
    |
0024|     in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county.  Each school shall receive
    |
0025|     an equal amount of funding from this appropriation.  Any
    |
0001|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0002|     fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0003|       Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0004|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately,
