0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EDUCATION PROJECTS IN THE RUIDOSO

0013|     MUNICIPAL SCHOOL DISTRICT IN LINCOLN COUNTY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0017|            A.  One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0019|     department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0020|     1997 for distribution in the following amounts for the following
    |
0021|     purposes:
    |
0022|                 (1)  fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the
    |
0023|     parents as teachers program in the Ruidoso municipal school
    |
0024|     district in Lincoln county; and
    |
0025|                 (2)  seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for
    |
0001|     the Gavilan Canyon school adolescent day treatment center in the
    |
0002|     Ruidoso municipal school district in Lincoln county.
    |
0003|            B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0004|     at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
