0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A STATEWIDE ALZHEIMER'S PROGRAM.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred twenty thousand
    |
0016|     six hundred dollars ($320,600) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0018|     1997 for the purpose of providing or contracting for a statewide
    |
0019|     Alzheimer's program, to include information and assistance,
    |
0020|     consultation and education, respite care, a Native American
    |
0021|     community component and increased maintenance efforts.  Any
    |
0022|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
