0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO CONTINUE

0013|     DEVELOPMENT OF A CRASH OUTCOME DATA EVALUATION SYSTEM; DECLARING

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0019|     department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 by the
    |
0020|     division of epidemiology, planning and evaluation to continue
    |
0021|     development of a crash outcome data evaluation system for the
    |
0022|     purpose of both injury treatment and accident prevention.  Any
    |
0023|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0024|     fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0025|       Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0001|         peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.                     State of New Mexico
