0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE REGIONAL JUVENILE SERVICES GRANT

0013|     FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING A MULTIPURPOSE REGIONAL

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the regional
    |
0019|     juvenile services grant fund for expenditure in fiscal year 1997
    |
0020|     for the purpose of developing a multipurpose regional facility
    |
0021|     for the detention of juveniles.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0022|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall not
    |
0023|     revert to the general fund.
