0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE LEGISLATIVE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Ninety-one thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($91,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     legislative scholarship fund for expenditure in fiscal year 1997
    |
0019|     for the purpose of implementing the provisions of the
    |
0020|     legislative scholarship program at the New Mexico military
    |
0021|     institute.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0022|     the end of fiscal year 1997 shall not revert to the general
    |
0023|     fund.
