0001| AN ACT | 0002| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE JUNE | 0003| 1996 WORLD INDIGENOUS PEOPLES' CONFERENCE ON EDUCATION IN ALBUQUERQUE; | 0004| DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. | 0005| | 0006| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO: | 0007| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars | 0008| ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office | 0009| of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal years 1996 and 1997 for the | 0010| purpose of funding the planning and implementation of the June 1996 | 0011| world indigenous peoples' conference on education in Albuquerque. Any | 0012| unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year | 0013| 1997 shall revert to the general fund. | 0014| Section 2.
