SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to SENATE FINANCE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 119

Amendment sponsored by Senator Jeff Steinborn

    1. On page 2, between lines 13 and 14, insert:

         "D. "co-investing organization" means a person principally engaged in holding, managing and investing securities, including a venture capital firm, a growth equity firm, a private equity firm and an angel investment firm;".

    2. On page 2, between lines 17 and 18, insert:

         "F. "immediate family" means those persons related by blood or marriage as well as stepchildren, foster children and adopted children or persons who live in the same residence and maintain a single economic unit;".

    3. Reletter subsections accordingly.

    4. On page 9, line 10, after "directors", insert "or a member of a director's immediate family".

    5. On page 9, line 12, strike "nor" and insert in lieu thereof a comma and after "authority", insert "nor a member of a director's or an employee's immediate family".
