Mr. President:

    Your HEALTH AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 46

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 12, line 23, before the period, insert ", but only to the extent that both states agree to and are participating in a joint investigation pursuant to the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact".

    2. On page 14, between lines 23 and 24, insert:

         "E. A license, certification or authorization that is automatically suspended or revoked pursuant to this article shall be immediately reinstated if the suspension or revocation is solely on the basis that a health care practitioner performed, recommended or provided reproductive health services or gender-affirming care as authorized in Article 1 of the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.".

    3. On page 22, strike lines 16 through 25 and on page 23, strike lines 1 and 2.

    4. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
