SENATE BILL 9

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, lines 5 and 6, strike "twenty-five million dollars ($25,000,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "one hundred fifty million dollars ($150,000,000)".

    2. On page 2, lines 7 and 8, strike "eight hundred thirty-three thousand dollars ($833,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "five million dollars ($5,000,000)".

    3. On page 2, lines 8 and 9, strike "eight hundred thirty-three thousand dollars ($833,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "five million dollars ($5,000,000)".

    4. On page 4, lines 15 and 16, strike "New Mexico Prehistoric and Historic Sites Preservation Act" and insert in lieu thereof "Cultural Properties Protection Act".

    5. On page 4, line 24, strike the closing quotation mark and between lines 24 and 25, insert the following new subsection:

         "D. Distributions made pursuant to this section shall not be used for the purposes of eminent domain."".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
