HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE BILL 446, as amended

Amendment sponsored by Representative Linda Serrato

    1. Strike House Consumer and Public Affairs Committee Amendments 4 and 5.

    2. On page 6, between lines 10 and 11, insert the following new paragraph:

             "(2) requiring an hour of dementia care training to be included as part of an annual continuing education training requirement for direct care service staff members at long-term care facilities, unless additional time is necessitated to address changing standards of care; and".

    3. Renumber the succeeding paragraph accordingly.
