    Your ENERGY, ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

 

HOUSE BILL 436

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

     1. On page 1, line 12, before the semicolon, insert "AND RENEWABLE DIESEL" and on line 14, before the period, insert "AND BLENDED RENEWABLE DIESEL".

 

     2. On page 1, line 19, before "INCOME", insert "AND RENEWABLE DIESEL" and on line 22, before "in", insert "or blended renewable diesel".

 

     3. On page 2, line 1, before "income", insert "and renewable diesel", on line 4, before the period, insert "or blended renewable diesel", on line 7, before "is", insert "or blended renewable diesel" and on line 9, before "as", insert "or blended renewable diesel".

 

     4. On page 3, line 18, strike "and".

 

     5. On page 3, line 20, strike the period and closing quotation mark and insert in lieu thereof "; and", and between lines 20 and 21, insert the following:

 

                "(3) "blended renewable biodiesel" means diesel engine fuel that contains at least five percent renewable biodiesel. As used in this paragraph, "renewable biodiesel" means biodiesel fuel that is produced from renewable biomass, as that term is defined in 42 U.S.C. 7545(o)(1)(I), as that section may be amended or renumbered."".

 

     6. On page 3, line 23, before "CORPORATE", insert "AND RENEWABLE DIESEL".

 

     7. On page 4, line 1, before "in", insert "or blended renewable diesel", on line 6, before "corporate", insert "and

renewable diesel", on line 9, before the period, insert "or blended renewable diesel", on line 12, before "is", insert "or blended renewable diesel" and on line 14, before "as", insert "or blended renewable diesel".

 

     8. On page 5, line 10, strike "and".

 

     9. On page 5, line 12, strike the period and closing quotation mark and insert in lieu thereof "; and", and between lines 12 and 13, insert the following:

 

                "(3) "blended renewable biodiesel" means diesel engine fuel that contains at least five percent renewable biodiesel.      11. On page 6, line 14, strike "and".

 

     12. On page 6, line 16, strike the period and closing quotation mark and insert in lieu thereof "; and", and between lines 16 and 17, insert the following:

 

                "(3) "blended renewable biodiesel" means diesel engine fuel that contains at least five percent renewable biodiesel. As used in this paragraph, "renewable biodiesel" means biodiesel fuel that is produced from renewable biomass, as that term is defined in 42 U.S.C. 7545(o)(1)(I), as that section may be amended or renumbered."".,

 

and thence referred to the TAXATION & REVENUE COMMITTEE.
