AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO FUND INTEGRATED SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER PROGRAMS AND CLINICS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million three hundred thousand dollars ($1,300,000) is appropriated from the consumer settlement fund of the office of the attorney general to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal years 2023 through 2025 to fund integrated substance use disorder programs in San Miguel county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2025 shall revert to the consumer settlement fund.
SECTION 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
