AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF AT-HOME CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 TESTING KITS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty million dollars ($50,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal years 2023 and 2024 for the distribution of at-home coronavirus disease 2019 testing kits. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2024 shall revert to the general fund.
