AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE AGING AND LONG-TERM SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE DEPARTMENT OF SENIOR AFFAIRS TO PROVIDE TREE CUTTING SERVICES FOR LOW-INCOME SENIORS WITHIN HOUSE DISTRICT 14 AND THE LARGER ATRISCO COMMUNITY IN THE SOUTH VALLEY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the aging and long-term services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2023 for the city of Albuquerque department of senior affairs to provide tree cutting services for low-income seniors within house district 14 and the larger Atrisco community in the south valley. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2023 shall revert to the general fund.
