    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

 

HOUSE BILL 74

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

    1. On page 3, line 23, strike "or" and insert in lieu thereof a comma.

 

     2. On page 3, line 24, after "member", insert "or at an office of the motor vehicle division of the taxation and revenue department".

 

     3. On page 3, after line 25, insert the following new subsection:

 

          "E. All persons released from imprisonment who are otherwise qualified to register to vote or to vote are automatically presumed eligible to register and vote.".

 

     4. On page 4, line 5, after "RIGHTS", insert "TO HOLD AN OFFICE OF PUBLIC TRUST".

 

     5. On page 4, line 11, after "state", insert "to hold an office of public trust".

 

     6. On page 4, line 16, after "state", insert "to hold an office of public trust".

 

     7. On page 4, line 22, after "court", insert "to hold an office of public trust".,
