AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE AGING AND LONG-TERM SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO PURCHASE NEW MEXICO-GROWN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES FOR SENIOR CENTER MEAL PROGRAMS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the aging and long-term services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2021 to purchase New Mexico-grown fruits and vegetables for senior center meal programs; provided that not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000) shall be used for associated program administration or promotion. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2021 shall revert to the general fund.
