AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE OFFICE OF THE STATE AUDITOR TO PROVIDE AUDIT SERVICES TO ACEQUIAS, COMMUNITY DITCH ASSOCIATIONS, LAND GRANTS-MERCEDES AND MUTUAL DOMESTIC ASSOCIATIONS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million dollars ($2,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of the state auditor for expenditure in fiscal years 2021 and 2022 to provide audit services to acequias, community ditch associations, land grants-mercedes and mutual domestic associations. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2022 shall revert to the general fund.
