AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CRIME VICTIMS REPARATION COMMISSION TO FUND SERVICES FOR VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the crime victims reparation commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2021 and subsequent fiscal years to provide services to victims of human trafficking who are minors and who are trafficked within the United States. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
