AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR THE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF STATEWIDE DATA ON COGNITIVE DECLINE AND CAREGIVING.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2021 to collect and analyze statewide data on cognitive decline and caregiving, using the federal centers for disease control and prevention's behavioral risk factor surveillance system. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2021 shall revert to the general fund.
