AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR A STATEWIDE DANCE PROGRAM TO BE PROVIDED IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOR LOW-INCOME, AT-RISK YOUTH.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2021 for a statewide dance program to be provided in public schools for low-income, at-risk youth. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2021 shall revert to the general fund.
