AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY OF THE EIGHTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT FOR ONE ATTORNEY FULL-TIME-EQUIVALENT EMPLOYEE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of the district attorney of the eighth judicial district for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 for one attorney full-time- equivalent employee. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
