AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CIRCUS ARTS EDUCATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 for a program to educate children in circus arts such as trapeze, aerial fabrics, unicycling, juggling, clowning, stilt-walking, giant puppetry and partner acrobatics. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
