AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT FOR THE PREWITT INDUSTRIAL PARK.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 for the planning and development of the Prewitt industrial park in McKinley county as recommended from reports required by House Memorial 72 from the 2017 legislative session and House Memorial 41 from the 2018 legislative session. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
