AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FOR A PATHWAY TO COLLEGE CAREERS PROJECT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to create a pathway to college careers project within the Chicana and Chicano studies department. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
